Protesters who marched out onto the Staten Island Expressway Monday morning blocked traffic cartier watch tank heading toward the Verrazano Narrows Bridge for exactly seven minutes to mark the time that they say police officers and EMTs failed to provide medical care to Eric Garner as he lay dkny watches women on the sidewalk in Tompkinsvile, according to a post on a social media site.

The post made to tumblr under the headline hashtag 7Minutes depicts an organized "civil disobedience protest action in response to the grand jury decision not to indict NYPD officer Danny Pantaleo for the chokehold death of Eric Garner."

No one was arrested for the Staten Island protest, said a spokesman for the NYPD's Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

"They let Eric Garner lay there and die after he cried out 11 times that he couldn't breathe. Now I'm in the street demanding justice, and I can't leave," said one anonymous protester who took part, according to the tumblr post.
