General Sales Manager – Prepress CtP / Prinect

Reporting to National Manager, Product Management Prinect & Ctp

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
-Develops, supports and implements strategic sales objectives in line with company objectives;
-Conducts customer visits to ensure that the market is fully and effectively covered by the sales force;
-Keeps in close contact with customers, market and supplier while acting as liaison person between these parties;
-Provides support to the sales staff and customer in explaining product features and benefits;
-Ensures continuous improvement in market coverage;
-In cooperation with marketing and product management supports and actively promotes showroom, demos and marketing activities in accordance with latest product development and product promotions strategies;
-Prepares monthly sales management reports.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-University degree majoring in Graphics Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science
-At least 10 years professional sales management experience in the graphic arts industry (preferably in prepress field) or IT related field.
-Demonstrated ability to sell high value, technically demanding equipment
-Strong background and experience in providing system solutions
-Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing and strategy plans for high tech products and services
-Strong business and commercial sense acumen
-Proven ability to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) with peers and senior management levels and build effective working relationships
-Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese language skills both verbally as well as in writing.
-Ability to effectively consult and liaise with internal and external customers and supplier
-Good analytical ability
-Experience working in a matrix organization, knowledge sharing and a natural team player
-Management reporting writing skills
-Capable of working independently, and meeting deadlines;
-Willingness to travel extensively
-Excellent customer care attitude and customer relations skills.
